A smart city indicator system that enables identification of the smart city level and comparison within the cities is an essential policy tool
for determining whether to support the cities and adjust their support programs.
Application for certification
The Certification Evaluation Committee, made up of domestic smart city-related experts, evaluates the submitted documents and implements certification.

Recertification
& follow-up management
The validity period of the smart city certification is two years from the date of issuance of the certificate, and a separate inspection is being carried out for the local governments that have been granted the certification.
